Words From the West Side Booklet

A booklet featuring selected interviews from Max Millard’s 100 New Yorkers of the 1970’s. The interviews are tied together through the visual narrative of a subway map, as each individual is defined by their ‘stop’ on the 1 train route. Expressive typography and retro design influences create a balance of vintage and modern voice.
